Adelaide Hills Sandstone has started tumbling rocks and producing river pebbles and rocks, and cobblestones. The river rocks will be made from a 40-80mm rock, so the sizes will vary within this range.
Our river rocks have the distinctive sandy tan colouring with grey, brown, and orange tones you have come to expect from our stone.
The river stones will be great for dry and wet river beds, succulent garden beds, ponds and water features. River stones will also work as mulch to keep underlying soil from drying out. Sandstone being very porous will suck up moisture during the night and keep the soil cool during the day.
