Carey Gully Retaining Blocks

Carey Gully Sandstone have created an innovative new product which is being used for large retaining walls.

It has a natural face with a sawn top, bottom and sides with random lengths. It comes in small and large.

It’s a great alternative to interlocking concrete blocks or gabion walls and if you have a large area that needs a retaining wall this product may be the option your looking for.

Complementing your wall with a feature staircase is just one of the different ways you can enhance the look of your home or garden.

If choosing to do your own project we suggest using machinery that is able to handle the size and weight of the stone, as this product can weigh up to 600kg.

Please feel free to come by the Carey Gully Quarry to view any of our products or to discuss the various options that are available.

Random Quarry Face Veneer

Random Quarry Face Veneer is between 20mm – 40mm thick and a great option to beautify an existing brick or masonry wall.

This stone will make your wall look like it has been built using solid random stone.

Random Quarry Face Veneer is adhered to a solid substrate eg: concrete blocks or brickwork using a flexible tile adhesive.

This gives you the advantage of being able to lay it with pointing (see Westfield Marion) or without pointing (see Internal Feature Walls).

A great alternative where solid stone is not an option.
