Quarry Face
Quarry face sandstone is a naturally formed, flat-faced stone, with a wide variety of textures and colours.
These variations in colour are caused by water running through natural fractures in the stone. On the way through the water leaves trace mineral deposits, which then oxidise to produce those rich reds, browns and blacks.
As the flagship of our range, Quarry face has been one of our most popular products because it creates an “old world” cottage feel, without the hard work of having to shape the rough stone.
Although it is generally used as a building product, some creative stonemasons are utilising it in the garden, for edging, fencing or even letterboxes to match the house.
Quarry Face is sold by the square metre and can be laid in a stretcher bond or random ashlar pattern.

Random Paving
Our random-shaped paving is 50mm thick, cut top and bottom, leaving the natural shape of the stone. We have created two sizes: one for normal paving (think paths and pool coping) and one called XL Paving mainly for stepping stones.
Our pavers are natural, quarry stone with all the traditional sandstone colours to complement your garden greenery.
They are easy to lay and can be modified to fit any area. Once laid, no sealing is necessary and little to no maintenance is required.
They have also been used as step tops, and as a capping for sawn or random wallers.
So if you want real stone for your home or garden, look no further than our beautiful Adelaide Hills sandstone.
